A JOINT INITIATIVE OF:
Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) and Gold Coast Health (GCH) are developing a Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Joint Regional Plan in partnership with people with lived experience, service providers and the broader community. Joint governance structures have been established to lead and guide this work. Over the coming year, there will be multiple opportunities to participate in joint regional planning consultation. We also encourage you to participate in this process by sharing your feedback via this page

Occurring within the broader mental health, suicide prevention and alcohol and other drugs reform happening at National and State levels, this regional approach will outline both GCPHN and GCH’s commitment to system integration while also identifying key pieces of work in the short term that will develop new ways of working together to improve outcomes with existing resources.
The Joint Regional Plan builds on the extensive engagement already conducted across the sector through the commissioning of a wide range of services in the region and an initial regional plan workshop Inital Regional hosted by GCPHN in 2018.
We are interested in hearing from different people in the community who may have an opinion on mental health and suicide prevention planning, especially if you have lived experience as a patient or carer, or as a clinician.
