Reimbursement to employers available for successful applicants
GPs are being provided the opportunity to develop skills in palliative care via a fully funded, supervised observational placement for 2-5 days, commencing from August to November 2022.
This opportunity is for Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered GPs wanting to upskill and learn more about palliative care.
The placement host site is at specialist palliative care services (Gold Coast or Brisbane sites), and placement days can be spread out or completed consecutively. For successful applicants, your time spent on placement will be reimbursed directly to your employer or self-employed applicants where applicable.
This opportunity is designed to help you incorporate the principles of palliative care into your day-to-day practice, rather than develop you as a specialist palliative care provider.
