The experience of cancer can be demanding on the body and mind. Diagnosis and treatment may stir up a range of challenging thoughts and feelings both for the person and those around them. The telephone group allows participants to learn new ways of managing difficulties.
Through the duration of the course participants can attend via phone or in person, the course is based on the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in-which clinical research trials of the MBCT have shown participants can experience positive changes in psychological wellbeing and quality of life.
This course is no cost to the participant.
