During this transition period, some vaccination data will not be available on the AIR, in particular school vaccination records.
The Gold Coast Public Health Unit (GCPHU) has identified children who have received additional doses of vaccines, some of which greatly exceed the number of doses advised under the Queensland National Immunisation Program schedule.
The GCPHU highly recommends contacting their immunisation data officers to confirm patients’ immunisation histories prior to vaccinating, especially for adolescent vaccinations. Our data officers are able to access the National, Queensland and Gold Coast databases for a complete record of immunisation.
