If you have any respiratory/cold/flu-like symptoms, such as cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny/stuffy nose, fatigue or lack of taste or smell or a range of other symptoms, including vomiting, nausea or diarrhoea, you should get tested for COVID-19.
If you have symptoms, no matter how mild, stay home, don’t go to work, school or the shops, and get tested as quickly as possible. There are a number of COVID-19 testing options on the Gold Coast and it is important that you get tested, to ensure you get the care you need and to stop the spread to your family or to the community.
If you want to know more about the testing process, Queensland Health also has useful information for you and your family.
