During this transition, our business processes have slowed which has resulted in a backlog of some key administrative tasks including the processing of referrals.
We have recruited additional staff and upskilled our workforce to support the activity required during this period of transition with processes in place to manage any potential clinical risks.
All referrals sent electronically to Gold Coast Health via your practice software using secure transfer services such as Medical Objects or HealthLinks will receive an automated electronic acknowledgement that your referral has been received.
You will also receive a letter advising that your patient has an appointment or has been added to the waitlist.
