On further investigation the Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) Digital Health team identified that healthcare professionals must use their full Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered name within practice clinical software, before their HPI-I can be validated for My Health Record.
If you get error messages when trying to enter your HPI-I into practice clinical software to use My Health Record, that states that your Health Professionals HPI-I could not be found, matched or verified, this may be fixed by ensuring that you are entering the whole AHPRA registered names of your staff into practice clinical software (especially if they have multiple surnames).
You will find that this may alleviate the problem and your clinical software will then verify your Practitioners HPI-I’s enabling them to access their patients My Health Record.
If you have any enquiries please contact the GCPHN My Health Record team at myhealthrecord@gcphn.com.au.
