You can check your symptoms with the COVID Care Self-Checker or the National Coronavirus Helpline to find out what care, if any, you might need. If your symptoms or health conditions mean you need to be cared for by a hospital, someone will call you
Complete the online COVID Care Self-Checker at www.qld.gov.au/health/covid-self-checker. Or you can call the National Coronavirus Helpline 24/7 on 1800 020 080. The Helpline has interpreters and uses the National Relay Service. You can call about yourself or someone you care for.
Most people will be able to care for themselves at home just like you would for other mild viruses. You may feel unwell or have no symptoms at all. Symptoms can include fever, cough, sore throat, headache, runny nose, sneezing, fatigue, diarrhoea, muscle aches and pain, and a loss of taste and smell.
