Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) has commissioned Wesley Mission Queensland to provide a co-designed non-clinical service. The service has been designed to support participants directly and also connect them to any additional supports required to reduce levels of distress and reduce the risk of suicide.
Five Northern Gold Coast General Practices are encouraged to become part of a select working group who can refer to the new Northern Gold Coast Community Suicide Prevention Service.
Participating practices can receive training, resources and support, influence the operational and strategic development of the service and become part of the system change.
To express an interest in participation in this unique project, or to find out more, download the Expression of Interest information sheet.
Remuneration of $5000 is available for successful practices to support the implementation of this pilot project. This pilot project will also support practices registered for the Practice Incentive Program to implement a quality improvement activity.
The deadline for application submission is: 9am, Monday 8 February 2021.
Questions regarding the process may be addressed to Chantelle Howse by email: chantelleh@gcphn.com.au
