The Personal Health Record (Red Book) | Children’s Health Queensland was updated on 1 July 2024 and now includes space to record RSV and meningococcal B immunisation.
As this is an official immunisation record, accurately document the batch number, date, and organisation details. This record does NOT replace AIR, so vaccinations will also need to be recorded electronically.
Please remember to identify at-risk children, who are eligible for additional funded vaccines, by ticking the relevant boxes in the record (outlined in red in the image below).
Adolescents aged 15 to 19 years are now eligible to receive 2 doses of meningococcal B (Bexsero) vaccination through the Queensland MenB Vaccination Program.
From: Immunisation Schedule Queensland | Queensland Health
Students in Year 10 will be offered MenB vaccination through the School Immunisation Program (SIP). If these vaccines are missed at school or the adolescent completed Year 10 prior to 2024, please offer catch up vaccination through your practice.
