The ‘Syphilis in pregnant women and their newborn infants in South East Queensland: assessment of outcomes and evaluation of barriers to care.’ is currently recruiting GPs and other health professionals involved in antenatal screening, diagnosis and/or management of syphilis in pregnancy and or care of neonates born to women diagnosed with syphilis in pregnancy.
What is involved?
Participation will involve a 30-minute interview conducted face-to-face at your place of work, a location of your choice, or via Zoom video conferencing.
We are offering participants a $150 gift voucher as a token of appreciation of their time.
Led by Principle Investigators Dr Clare Nourse, a Paediatric Infection Specialist at the Children’s Health Queensland, in collaboration with fellow investigators Dr Judith Dean (University of Queensland), Dr Sumi Britton (RBWH), Dr Paul Griffin (Mater) and Dr Mandy Seel the study has ethical approval from the RBWH HREC/2019/QRBW/59360.
