A Responsible Officer (RO) usually is the business owner, who registers the organisation to the MHR system has authority to act in any dealings with the MHR system and can add an OMO.
Through adding an OMO in PRODA, this enables administrative tasks such as ordering NASH PKI certificates to be completed by someone other than the RO, for example the practice manager.
Organisations are recommended to assign an OMO, refer to the following steps here.
