What is Smart Referrals?
Smart Referrals are digital referrals, aligned with the most up to date Clinical Prioritisation Criteria (CPC), which auto-populate referral information from your practice management software.
They also clearly flag additional information that needs to be included with the referral, such as tests, imaging, investigations and health history.
This should help minimise returned referrals, and ensure your patients attend the appropriate speciality clinic.
It also offers transparency for General Practitioners to track how their patient is progressing through the specialist outpatient referral process. Please see the link for more information on Smart Referrals.
