BreastScreen Queensland’s One more thing campaign is currently encouraging women in this age group to do something for themselves: book a breast screen, every two years. Locally, the Gold Coast service is also busy spreading the word via social media, billboards and other mediums including Tonic Health advertising in participating health facilities.
With current appointment wait times reduced to around two weeks, please help encourage your eligible patients to book in for a breast screen at BreastScreen Queensland. New GP Recommendation pads, reminder cards and posters are available to order – simply email BSQ-GoldCoast@health.qld.gov.au or call 132 050.
