The Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) had advised of the availability of new resources for your patients, designed to assist those within culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) populations in Queensland.
The B Healthy booklet is now available in Korean, to complement the existing resource available in English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic.
ECCQ also have a new resource called ‘Let’s Talk About It …’, a comprehensive information source written in plain English addressing Hepatitis, HIV and Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs). This resource has been reviewed by many clinical specialists in this area with particular thanks to Dr David Siebert Infectious Diseases Specialist at the Princess Alexandra and Logan Hospitals.
All of their written translated resources can be downloaded from the ECCQ website. Alternatively, printed copies can be ordered by downloading and completing the resource order form available on the website.
All resources and services provided by the Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS and Sexual Health Program including Fibroscan procedures, education sessions and client support services provided by our trained Bi-Lingual Community Health Workers are FREE.
Funding for this Program is provided by Queensland Health.
