This tool is currently being used by 83 practices on the Gold Coast and is being considered for roll out by PHNs nationally that could see the tool used in up to nearly half the general practices around the country.
Based on the success of the Primary Sense extraction tool on the Gold Coast, GCPHN is prioritising Primary Sense installs in all compliant general practices by the end of March 2022.
GCPHN is only able to fund and support one tool for practices. This means that from 1 July 2022, GCPHN is planning to no longer fund and support PenCS licenses for practices that have software compliant with Primary Sense.
Primary Sense is fully subsidised by GCPHN. This tool can significantly support your practice to identify your at-risk patients and manage your workload during this COVID-19 pandemic. It provides near real-time insights that support your business sustainability by helping you identify patients who may be slipping through the gaps.
