The Gold Coast Public Health Unit has advised that there are some changes to the Queensland Immunisation Schedules as of 1st July 2023, including the addition of Vaxelis (alternative to Infanrix Hexa; does not need reconstitution).

*Note the addition of Influenza vaccine at 6 months: Annual influenza vaccine is strongly recommended and funded for children aged 6 months to under 5 years old. The free flu vaccines for all Queenslanders program ends on 31/08/2023.
Personal Health Record (Red Book) Immunisation Documentation
As this is an official immunisation record, ensure to accurately document:
batch number
date
organisation details
Tick the boxes to identify:
Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander children
Children with medical risk factors
Pre-term/low birth weight babies
These risk groups will need additional vaccines.
Ensure to always accurately document (including dose number) immunisation information to send to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).
*Note: The Meningococcal B dose at 6 months old is only to be given to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children with medical risk factors (see handbook).
