It describes barriers and enablers for seeking help, and strategies to identify and safely respond to older patients experiencing abuse or violence.
This module is free for primary care staff and attracts RACGP/ACRRM CPD.

Recognise the risk factors, types and signs of the abuse of older people.

Identify strategies to identify and safely respond to older people experiencing abuse or violence.
Determine pathways and access appropriate referral options for older people at risk or experiencing abuse.
