Position requirements:

• Opening and closing of clinic
• Answering phones, managing appointment bookings, greeting patients, billing, scanning incoming mail and general reception duties
• Managing of claims to Medicare and DVA, processing of workers compensation claims and all types of billing
• Sending patient reminders, confirming appointments for next day
• Assisting with MyMedicare registers
• Importing and exporting of patient records
• Monitoring and ordering stationery and office supplies to maintain a working supply at all times
• Involvement in quality improvement programs and patient feedback initiatives
• Housekeeping and other miscellaneous administrative tasks

Broadbeach Medical Centre has been part of the community for over 50 years. The GP’s have special interests in a wide range of areas, with some focused specifically on women’s health only. The founding principal GP is still actively seeing patients and the practice team continues to grow. Our practice is only 1 block from the beach and is located in the busy Oasis Shopping Centre.

We welcome the opportunity for a full-time or part-time GP to join the established team of doctors. This position provides you with the opportunity to see a variety of general practice patients or focus on your special interests such as Women’s Health. Our 35% service fee boasts large consultation rooms, a 2-bed treatment room, as well as a women’s health procedure room. Some of our reception and nursing team members have been with the practice for more than 10 years.

We value your outgoing and caring personality in providing general practice services. If you are interested in expanding your knowledge in women’s health services, we would provide you with further training relating to these.
