In light of the recent storms in Southeast Queensland, the Gold Coast Primary Health Network, in partnership with Resilient Ready, is excited to offer an opportunity for senior managers within Residential Aged Care Homes (RACH) to enhance their disaster preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities through business continuity planning workshops.

This initiative aims to embed an all-hazards approach to emergency management planning while considering the RACH’s dual focus of being care facilities as well as operating entities. Recognising the demands and time constraints of staff within these facilities, we have designed a Business Continuity Planning Training Week tailored to accommodate these needs.

These workshops will be delivered as four 30 minute webinars across the week. Each session will unpack a specific topic, guiding facility managers and other organisational leadership staff through quick practical planning. Participants will be equipped with essential knowledge and tools to handle disasters, pandemics, and other potential crises effectively.
