Our workshops provide our GPs with the opportunity to connect, share, and discuss ideas and experiences with your peers, as well as discover the diverse range of learning opportunities available for GP registrars and medical students in general practice.

Join us for our upcoming GP Trainer Workshop on:
Artificial Intelligence in General Practice & Medical Training 

Presenter: Dr Kieran Le Plastrier | Assistant Professor, Bond University 
Dr Le Plastrier is working with hospital and private sector partners on research investigating the value and challenges of generative AI and other technologies in primary and hospital care across Australia.  He is an active user of generative AI in his academic and private practice and looks forward to presenting a pragmatic overview of how supervisor-clinicians might consider the impact of AI on learning and training, and in their own clinical practice. 

The presentation will be followed by round table activities with facilitators discussing the following topics:

• The use of AI in medical student learning.
• What do you need to watch out for when using AI? (e.g. record and letter writing)
• How is AI being utilised in General Practice? What use is working well?
• How is AI being utilised in the healthcare system more broadly?
