Brisbane South and Gold Coast PHNs extend an invite to attend a session introducing our upcoming Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness project.
By enabling individuals to plan for their health needs, electronic medical equipment, pharmacy and medical supplies, and support networks during disasters the project aims to:

The team will outline the program concept, including the development of a toolkit designed to support person-centred emergency preparedness for people who are medically vulnerable. The discussion will also highlight how the project aligns with existing tools, frameworks, and sector practices.
Importantly, we are also seeking input from community leaders and key stakeholders who strongly identify with the need for this work and/or who are already working in this space. Your experience and insights will help ensure we reflect current best-practice, identify real capability needs, and support the development of a practical and effective model.
