This workshop will examine respiratory assessment of a deteriorating patient. The aim of the workshop is to assist Nurses and other interested Health Professionals in developing knowledge and gaining confidence in their assessment skills.
Lung auscultation and general respiratory assessment will be linked to how respiratory disorders and deterioration are identified on a chest x-ray. The presenter will empower attendees to recognise signs on the chest x-ray of deterioration so there is timely intervention.
