As we see an increasing resistance to antibiotics we are increasingly challenged to managed wounds these types of wounds. What is the latest information, what is best practice?
This workshop will explore the practical side of managing wound infection, biofilms, wound swabbing to achieve good healing outcomes.
The second part of this workshop focuses on the wound planning and management for infected wounds – which dressings are antimicrobial, what is their mechanism of action and how do we use them.
