Alignment to Item 6A of the Schedule of Particulars | The AIHW is collating aggregated general practice data on dementia to develop a consolidated snapshot of dementia prevalence and management. Outputs from this project will strengthen the evidence base on dementia which can help inform program implementation, support service delivery and resource allocation by GCPHN and general practices. Data shared with AIHW will be de-identified, and all analysis will be at the regional level, and not at the level of individual general practices or GPs. |
Approved by | This project has been endorsed by GCPHN Primary Sense Clinical Advisory Group and received approval from AIHW’s Ethics Committee. The project has received support from the PHN National Data Governance Committee and the PHN Steering Committee. |

Alignment to Item 6A of the Schedule of Particulars | This study will use Primary Sense data for a research project conducted in collaboration with Bond University. It aligns with the primary purpose for using PS data to assist in the development of community health promotion and prevention activities, and population health planning. Data shared with Bond University will be completely de-identified and will not allow for re-identification of patients or GPs. All analyses will be made at the regional level, and not at the level of individual general practices. |
