Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) is governed by a diverse board with significant experience in primary healthcare and community sectors, with broad ranging skills.

  • Began my career as a new graduate working on Country alongside my mob in the Mount Isa District, grounding my practice in community-based care and cultural connection.
  • Held influential positions within the Southeast Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Sector, collaborating closely with Queensland Health and mainstream GP practices to advance culturally safe healthcare delivery.
  • Actively support the next generation of health graduates at the university level, guiding them to enter the workforce with a deeper understanding of cultural safety and the practical integration of these values into clinical settings.
  • Proudly supporting my sister as she leads the development and implementation of “Tjurtu” – The First Nations Nursing and Midwifery Leadership Program, which sets a new benchmark for Indigenous nursing leadership across Queensland.

  • Successfully completed an Auditing Course with Grays Management, laying the foundation for me to commence audits and complete audit reports within the health arena, contributing to clinical excellence and cultural integrity.
  • Successfully completed a Bachelor of Nursing Science, laying the academic foundation for a career grounded in clinical excellence and cultural integrity.
