In the realm of disaster recovery, effectively managing fatigue is crucial as it significantly impacts the efficiency and resilience of recovery workers. Fatigue not only diminishes physical performance but also compromises decision-making and increases the likelihood of accidents.
This session delves into the nature of fatigue, offering practical strategies for effective management, and providing participants with actionable insights to mitigate its impact on themselves and their work within the recovery space.
Led by Sebnem Bulan-Worth from WHS & Training Compliance, a seasoned educator with extensive qualifications including Principal Master Mental Health First Aid Instructor, HBDI® Certified Practitioner, and Adaptive Mindset for Resiliency Certified Practitioner, this session aims to equip participants with the tools to cultivate resilience in the face of fatigue.
The workshop will conclude at 12:30pm followed by a catered networking lunch (please bring your own water bottle).
This project is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
