Severe thunderstorms and power outages have impacted communities in South-East Queensland including the Gold Coast.
Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) is liaising with disaster management and recovery committees to provide support and information to general practices, medical clinics, Residential Aged Care Homes, and the wider Gold Coast community.

Disaster financial assistance is available to eligible residents affected by the severe storms and rainfall on the Gold Coast and Scenic Rim. Read more on the Disaster Financial Assistance webpage.
Community Recovery Hubs are currently open across the Gold Coast. This is where people can go if they are experiencing hardship and wish to apply for grants or obtain emotional and wellbeing support.
