Open seven days a week from 8am until 10pm, including public holidays.
Services provided: Urgent treatment for common injuries and illnesses, such as strains and sprains, simple fractures, infections and rashes, minor eye issues, minor cuts and burns, toothaches, earaches and fevers.
The Gold Coast Medicare UCC operates from Our Medical Gold Coast. The UCC is a separate operation to the general practice and provides walk-in, bulk-billed care for extended hours, seven days a week for minor injuries and illnesses.
If you have a Medicare card, (or know the number), bring it with you when you attend the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.
After you have visited the UCC, a summary of important information about your urgent presentation will be provided to you and your usual GP so you can follow up with your own GP.
If it is an emergency – call 000 or go to the nearest emergency department. Emergency or life-threatening care requires immediate medical attention and management by an emergency department or hospital.
