Speakers:

• Dr Elizabeth Leprince:  graduated from the Australian National University in 2008. She moved to Tamworth in 2009 to work at the Tamworth Base Hospital. Dr Leprince finished her General Practice training in 2014. Her interests are in rural health, family medicine and sexual health.
• Dr Louise Tomlins (Sexual Health Specialist):  is an Australian-based health professional. Louise is trained as a GP and Sexual Health Specialist. Dr Tomlins’ special interests include management of HIV infection, HIV Prevention including PrEP, treatment of and screening for sexually transmitted infections, contraception, antenatal care, women’s health, transgender medicine, as well as all aspects of general practice.
• A/Prof Darren Russell (FRACGP, DipVen, FAChSHM: Associate Professor): is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne and James Cook University. Darren is a past-President of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, the Victorian AIDS Council, and the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations. Darren’s interests include Indigenous sexual health and the elimination of HIV transmission and hepatitis C infections in Australia. He has worked as a clinician in the field of transgender health for 30 years and has prescribed hormonal therapy using an informed consent model for all of that time.
