This course is ADVANCED life support (ALS) Level 2, this course covers advanced resuscitation skills designed for the health care professional to develop leadership skills as well as critical thinking and decision-making skills.
You will be supported and coached by experienced facilitators to assist you to achieve advanced skills and knowledge. You must demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill to be awarded accreditation. Otherwise, only a certificate of attendance can be issued (non-accredited).
As an attendee of this ALS Level 2 course, you already have access to the theoretical component of Basic Life Support. As an additional benefit if you undertake a competency assessment during this course, you will be awarded a CPR Basic Life Support certificate.
