Expand your psychological preparedness and enhance self-care practices while gaining valuable insights into recognising burnout.
Health professionals and those who work in the recovery space are invited to join us for an interactive workshop led by renowned expert, David Younger, where you can build upon your existing resources and strategies when working in the field of disaster recovery.
David Younger is a Melbourne-based clinical psychologist as well as natural disaster and emergency recovery consultant with over 16 years’ experience in private practice, helping people across a broad range of mental health conditions. In his work as a natural disaster and emergency recovery consultant, he partners with communities, agencies, and local and state governments across Australia. He has been a trusted advisor after numerous events including bushfires, floods, droughts, cyclones, the 2017 Bourke Street tragedy, thunderstorm asthma, and COVID-19 – Home | David Younger Psychology.
The workshop will conclude at 11:45am followed by a networking lunch (catering provided).
Parking: Paid parking is available at the hospital carpark. Please allow plenty of time to secure a carpark.
Venue: PED Building, Gold Coast University Hospital (building opposite the main hospital entrance), ground floor, large lecture theatre.
