Medical Super Clinic in partnership with the Gold Coast Primary Health Network invites general practitioners and healthcare professionals to an information session about the Gold Coast’s new Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Clinic.
This new bulk-billed service provides a tailored and dedicated multi-disciplinary service for women living with endometriosis or experiencing chronic pelvic pain.
Endometriosis has a profound impact on women’s health, with those affected waiting an average of seven years before diagnosis, leading to prolonged suffering and reduced quality of life. Around 50% of women with endometriosis experience chronic pelvic pain and 30-40 percent of women have trouble conceiving naturally with endometriosis being one of the leading causes of infertility in women.
