Up-to-date Immunisation Schedules
Check your QLD Immunisation Schedules to make sure they are the latest editions. The Children’s schedule was last updated in July 2020 and the Adolescents & Adults schedule was last updated in October 2021. See the links below if needing to update to the current posters.

Rotarix Wheel Discard
On 23 December 2022, GSK recommended to immediately cease use of and discard any copies of the Rotarix wheel due to some discrepancies. New resources will be provided by GSK in 2023. There is no impact to the quality of the Rotarix vaccine. Queensland Health Immunisation Program have sent out correspondence to Vaccine Service Providers.
Adult Refugees
When reviewing refugees and other humanitarian entrant’s immunisation status, don’t forget about the adults! Adult refugees are eligible for the following funded vaccinations if there is no documented history of vaccination or catch-up vaccination is required:
If there is a written record of any vaccine doses being administered, those vaccine doses should not be repeated. There may also be other vaccines required based on individual risk factors (e.g. influenza). Serology testing prior to vaccination in not routinely recommended to check immunity but may be used in certain circumstances. Refer to the Australian Immunisation Handbook for more information.
