Disaster Ready Training for RACHs & General Practice
In light of the recent storms in Southeast Queensland, the Gold Coast Primary Health Network, in partnership with Resilient Ready, is excited to offer an opportunity for practice managers within Residential Aged Care Homes (RACH) and general practice to enhance their disaster preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities through business continuity planning workshops and mini-modules.
This initiative aims to embed an all-hazards approach to emergency management planning while considering the dual focus of being care facilities as well as operating entities.
Each session will unpack a specific topic, guiding facility managers and other organisational leadership staff through quick practical planning. Participants will be equipped with essential knowledge and tools to handle disasters, pandemics, and other potential crises effectively.
The training is made up of 4 online self-paced modules, ensuring flexibility and convenience for busy professionals. Access to the disaster-ready bundle will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
