Training Opportunities: Mental Health First Aid

If you work in primary care or on the frontline of community disaster support, you may be eligible to receive sponsored Mental Health First Aid qualifications.

Mental Health First Aid equips individuals with the skills to assist people experiencing a mental health problem or crisis until professional help is available or the situation improves. Participants learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues in adults, how to respond effectively, and the treatments and supports that are available.

Our next program will be held in June and focus on Youth Mental Aid.
