A new Lung Cancer Screening report is now available in Primary Sense to assist general practice staff in identifying patients eligible for the National Lung Cancer Screening Program which commenced on 1 July 2025. Practices can use this report to:
Identify and recall eligible patients for screening, improving early detection and outcomes.
Streamline workflows by exporting filtered patient lists directly into recall systems.
Support clinical decision-making with detailed patient data.
Please note that the ‘Smokes Per Day’ and ‘Pack Years’ columns are currently not populated in the report. A Primary Sense update will be released shortly to ensure these columns are populated when the data is available for the patient in the practice clinical software.
