Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast, in partnership with Gold Coast Heart Centre, is pleased to offer this GP education event focusing on Cardiac care with specific presentations on atrial fibrillation (AF) and dyslipidaemia.
Cardiovascular disease remains a significant health burden in Australia, with AF and dyslipidaemia among the most common conditions managed in primary care.
This educational evening is designed to enhance GP knowledge and confidence in the diagnosis, assessment, and management of these conditions. The event will also provide a valuable opportunity for attendees to engage directly with seven Gold Coast Heart Centre cardiologists, ask questions, discuss challenging cases, and gain insights into current best practice.
By providing practical, up-to-date information that can be readily applied in general practice, this activity aims to support improved patient outcomes and strengthen collaboration between primary care and cardiology services.
Speakers
This event has limited capacity and is specifically intended for GPs who manage cardiac patients or have a special interest. We kindly request registration from those who find the content
relevant to their everyday practice.
