The Community Rehabilitation Program offers multidisciplinary, community-based rehabilitation services for adults aged 18 and over.
The program provides goal-oriented, person-centred care through a holistic model of restorative and adaptive therapy, focusing on enhancing functional capacity and quality of life.
This service supports individuals transitioning from hospital to home or those referred from the community with identified rehabilitation needs. Based at the Robina Health Precinct, the program includes group-based and individual therapy sessions, delivered either on-site or in the individuals’ home.
The multidisciplinary team provides a wide range of clinical services, including:
Physiotherapy
Occupational Therapy
Speech Pathology
Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology
Social Work
Nursing
Medical Consultation
Conditions commonly managed include stroke recovery, neurological disorders, acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and trauma.
