As part of our ongoing efforts to improve and expand our services, GCPHN have established a steering committee of dedicated community members and professionals, including General Practitioners, to guide the development and implementation of The Way Back Support Service (TWBSS).
TWBSS is a Suicide Prevention and After Care service on the Gold Coast that is dedicated to improving health outcomes for individuals at risk of suicide. TWBSS’s purpose is to provide support, care and hope to those who need it most, and to do so in a way that is effective, sustainable and responsive to the changing needs of our community.
GCPHN acknowledges that the expertise, experience and commitment of our committee members are crucial in making a positive impact in the health outcomes of individuals at risk of suicide. The deadline for application submission is COB Friday, 3 March 2023. People of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent are strongly encouraged to apply.
