Advancing healthcare excellence is a journey, not a destination. Thus, the endeavour of standardising quality improvement by the PHN National Improvement Network Collaborative (NINCo) is an ongoing process of improvement across the primary health network.
There are many factors that contribute to healthcare excellence, including quality of care, access to care, patient experience, and organisational culture. Primary healthcare across Australia attempts to address the health of entire populations, rather than individuals by adopting programs like MyMedicare. It aims to provide high-quality care that caters to individual needs through safe, effective, timely, efficient, equitable, and accessible healthcare. Continuous quality improvement utilises the power of data to drive enhancement, implement evidence-based practices, empower the workforce, and collaborate with others thus ensuring sustainability. By working together, we can make a difference in the lives of patients and improve the quality of care for all.
NINCo is organising the conference – Advancing Healthcare Excellence: MyMedicare, Population Health, and Data-driven Quality Improvement to address and discuss the issues and solutions for a unified approach towards continuous quality improvement across primary healthcare in Australia.
We invite you to partake in this conference and use this opportunity to know your counterparts and work collectively towards a standardised approach for quality improvement across primary healthcare in Australia.

CANCELLATIONS: Online registrations will be confirmed immediately in our booking system. This is our preferred method of RSVP. To cancel your RSVP please use the email link or call the GCPHN events team (PH. 07 5635 2455). In recent months a number of registrants to our events have failed to attend and have not provided cancellation advice. This often results in others, often on wait lists, being unable to attend. In addition, GCPHN resources are wasted as costs for catering and support staff are still incurred. Each event therefore incurs a cost per person ranging from $65 – $120. GCPHN wishes to continue to provide training and education at no cost to primary care providers, however for these reasons we may have to consider implementing fees to offset our costs in the future. Please ensure you provide at least 2 days’ notice if you need to cancel your registration
