Apply to join the APNA CUltiv-8 Program to design and plan a nurse-led clinic tailored to the needs of your practice community. GCPHN is funding eight Gold Coast general practices to design, plan and implement a nurse-led clinic at their general practice. The program is delivered by APNA over 8 weeks with support and training on patient engagement, systems and processed, funding, data collection. Participants are provided with the tools to plan a nurse-led, team-based model of care which meets the health needs of their community.
In February – March 2026, GCPHN supported eight Gold Coast general practices to complete the program.
Participants developed clinics focused on:
“I am a lot more confident about planning and initiating the nurse clinic. I have become very inspired to do more.”
“It has given me a sense of responsibility within the clinic. And allowed me to use my knowledge”
“Cultiv-8 has given me the confidence to set up and run our nurse clinic”
“I think it is very important, as the Cultiv-8 program provided great foundational knowledge to build a nurse clinic, and insight on management and measurable data. It was great”
Who can apply:
Key dates and information
Applications open: Monday 1 June 2026
Applications close: Thursday 20 August 2026, 5pm
Program dates: Tuesday 8 September 2026 through to Tuesday 27 October 2026
Program format: 8-week hybrid learning program.
Program time commitment: 1 hour per week + 2x 3-hour in-person workshops (see EOI guide).
Available positions: Limited places – 8 practices only
Education and training opportunity valued at $3000 per practice (2 participants) if self-funded.
