General practice registered nurses (RNs) involved in our Clinical Placement program provide valuable learning experiences by exposing students to a variety of clinical proficiencies. To be part of this well respected team, supervising nurses must complete a Preceptor Training workshop which we strongly encourage supervisors to attend annually and is a great opportunity to network with other Gold Coast RN supervisors. Registered nurses interested in supervising students on clinical placement are also welcome to attend.
Workshop Training and Supervising students can count towards CNE points.
The workshop training is a collaborative effort with Griffith University School of Nursing and Midwifery, Southern Cross University and Gold Coast Primary Health Network.

This will be a face to face workshop. Dinner will be provided, however we ask that you bring your own water bottle for additional refreshment.
