The Refugee Health Network Queensland (RHNQ) invites you to attend an education session for primary care professionals, focused on supporting patients of a refugee backgrounds with preventative health interventions and education, including catch-up immunisations and influenza vaccines.
Discussion will be facilitated by Dr Rachel Claydon (GP and Refugee Health Fellow RHNQ). There will be the opportunity to hear from Emma Sommerville (refugee health nurse), Dr Margaret Kay (GP), and Michel Ghazal and Faiza Abdurahman (refugee health advisory group members) who will provide cultural and
community perspectives on preventative health, and specific challenges for new arrivals.
