Autism and ADHD in girls and women are frequently under-recognised or identified later in life. Their presentation may differ from traditional diagnostic stereotypes, with many females masking or compensating for their difficulties while experiencing significant internal distress, exhaustion, anxiety or burnout.
This practical education session is designed for GPs and other primary healthcare professionals.
This session aims to increase your confidence in recognising possible autism and ADHD presentations and facilitating affirming, appropriate pathways for further support or assessment.
