I still can’t believe it’s April and Easter is just around the corner, but here we are. In recent news, GPGC has welcomed new member, Dr Fabian Ring, who joined us in mid-February.
This month, we are also thrilled that Dr Nicole Langsford will join the GPGC board. This means we now have a full board! Dr Langsford is an experienced GP who practices locally and graduated from Medicine at Griffith University Gold Coast. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and her board experience includes General Practice Training Queensland and Wentworth Healthcare.
GPGC has another upcoming education event in partnership with WiSE: Specialist Emergency, with sponsorship by Bayer. This will be held at the new Green Fields Rooftop Bar and Restaurant in Robina. Join us on 20 April from 5:45pm for a 6:00pm start, where we will review advances in cardiology and paediatric iron infusions. Please RSVP to events@wisemedical.com.au
We also have a save the date for 25 May for the GPGC AGM + Connect event again at Blackboard Varsity. Please keep an eye out for the formal invitation to come.
