Improving digital correspondence from Gold Coast Health

Gold Coast Health is committed to working towards improved digital correspondence. They have listened to feedback from General Practice and to help enhance their digital communications, General Practice will now see the following improvements:

  • Endoscopy reports have been successfully converted for digital distribution.
  • Emergency Department discharge letters are now available in The Viewer. These letters will continue to be sent digitally to a nominated GP however, if your patient has not listed you as their GP, these letters can be accessed via The Viewer.
  • Gold Coast Health is currently rolling out a direct to GP letter system with letters being sent digitally within 24 hours of completion.

To ensure you receive digital communications please make sure your details are up to date in the Queensland Health STS Address Book.
