BreastScreen Queensland offers free screening for asymptomatic women to detect early signs of cancer. Screening is most effective for women aged 50–74 but is available from age 40, with no upper age limit. Discuss the benefits and risks of screening with your patients based on their health, circumstances, and ability to undergo follow-up treatment if needed.
