With spring temperatures rising and the heat of summer months approaching, the Gold Coast is anticipating thunderstorms and the consequent risk of power failures.
Vaccine service providers must be prepared to avoid loss of vaccines. If your vaccine refrigerator loses power, your vaccines may need to be urgently transferred into alternative storage, such as a hard sided cooler. Lack of preparedness for storm season could have an impact on the vaccine services at your Medical Centre.
