Every day, aged and community care staff are in a unique position to notice changes in an older person’s behaviour, mood or wellbeing. You see what others may not. And sometimes, that awareness can be life-saving.
The Suicide Prevention for Seniors program, delivered by Anglicare, is an accredited and evidence-based course designed specifically for people working with older adults across residential aged care, home care, community settings and support services. This training builds the capability and confidence to recognise warning signs early and respond with empathy and safety.
